Join experimental culinary artist, Chef Achang Libat, for a raya food demonstration!
Chef Achang Libat is a Sarawakian chef known for his innovative approach to local cuisine, blending traditional flavours with modern and around the world techniques.
Of Kayan and Lun Bawang heritage, Achang trained in Kuala Lumpur and then Sydney, where he worked with prestigious establishments like Guylian Chocolate Café and Balcon by Tapavino, a Spanish tapas restaurant, before returning to Kuching in 2019.
His culinary style is highly experimental, often drawing inspiration from local ingredients and stories to create unique, artistic dining experiences.
